                       – Largest Event For Louisiana in Decades Deemed Huge Success-

GONZALES, LA (April 8, 2024) – The inaugural Rock the Country festival, held at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center April 5-6 in Gonzales, Louisiana, was a great success, marking a significant milestone for the festival and laying the groundwork for the additional six upcoming events across the Southeast.

With over 55,000 tickets sold, Rock The Country emerged as a new premier music festival experience.

“We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to Rock The Country in Gonzales,” said Nathan Baugh, Rock The Country Founder. “It’s incredible to see how our festival has resonated with the local community and attendees from across the region.”

The festival in Gonzales, one of only seven selected locations, gained widespread attention, featuring a special guest appearance from Tucker Carlson adding to Saturday evening’s excitement.

“As I walked through the crowd, I thought, this is the America I know – kind of weird, slightly crazy, full of love and beautiful,” said Tucker Carlson. “So let me tell you, my fellow Americans, what we’ve got. All gathered here tonight are free people united by our love of country and under God. And in the name of that country and God, we’re here to celebrate a party that will not stop.”

The economic impact of Rock The Country was highly beneficial for the Gonzales’ community. Local businesses benefited from the influx of festival-goers, generating $18 million in economic impact for the city, further showing Rock The Country’s role in supporting small-town communities.

Rock The Country aims to replicate its success in six remaining stops across the country. From Kentucky to South Carolina, each stop promises to deliver unforgettable experiences and economic opportunities for local communities.  Kid Rock and Jason Aldean will continue to headline all remaining Rock The Country festivals.

The remaining stops on the Rock The Country tour include:

  • Ashland, KY – April 19 & 20 at Boyd County Fairgrounds
  • Rome, GA – May 10 & 11 at Kingston Downs
  • Ocala, FL – June 7 & 8 at Majestic Oaks Ocala
  • Mobile, AL – June 21 & 22 at The Grounds
  • Poplar Bluff, MO – June 28 & 29 at Brick’s Offroad Parks
  • Anderson, SC – July 26 & 27 at Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center

“Rock The Country is about bringing a festival to the people, and these towns represent hard-working Americans and small-town USA,” said Shane Quick, Rock The Country Founder. “Our vision was to create something that would resonate with small towns across America, and seeing the impact it had in Gonzales reaffirms that we’re on the right path. We’re excited to continue this journey and bring the Rock The Country experience to even more towns in the coming months.”
